battery discharge

I have a 6700 running wm6. Up untill a few days ago I would be able to go three days without charging the phone. Recently I have had to charge the device everynight and the battey is almost fully drained by the afternoon of the following day. Any sugg on fixing this at all? a buddy of mine was having the same prob with his 6700. Thanks in advance

I am amazed that you could go three days. Do you use the data connection? I have always hade to charge mine every night. You must not check email or use the internet at all.

haha. i never used my data connection up untill a few days ago and i never really went online till recently. I now check my email once a day and i have skype running all the time. My data connection is only active when i check email and when i occasionally browse the web so am surprised that these minor usage changes can drain the battery so quickly
