Activesync would be my suggestion. gguru do you ever sleep? 7AM

I looked in the tools folder and there are 2 G'Reloc.exe files. Are there supposed to be 2?

C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\TOOLS <- that's where i looked
i have G'Reloc.exe AND G'Reloc (2).exe

Same here. I have looked and seen that this seems to be a random error, but nothing I seem to try from all the suggestions has worked. I have tried stripping the build to the very basics and it still fails.

You're probably not missing anything. You had a build error, and there's no telling what all is not right as a result (depends on where the error occurred and what you have selected). I don't know what causes the G'Reloc error - wish I could replicated it. I recommend extracting the .rars and seeing if you get a greloc error when the files aren't .rared. If you don't know the details of how to do this, find someone in the chat room to walk you through it. If you succeed in getting past G'Reloc without error, please post what you did.

Hi guys.
I've used the kitchen a few times, and really enjoy it. If I ever dig myself out of debt, I'll be sure to donate!

Anyhoo, one thing that keeps pestering me is that unless there's a webpage associated with an app, there's very little to go on to actually know what it is. The Microsoft & HTC selections simply give you a link to their corporate websites, which sometimes are rather useless. I've found out what many of them do by using Google or Yahoo's search, but there are still a few I'm rather lost on.

Another little bugger is that I don't see where I can tell how big an app is. When you're trying to squeeze as much into your rom as possible, it seems like that bit of info would be nice to have.

If there's any way to work better descriptions and file sizes into the kitchen, that'd be super helpful.

And, even if you don't bother doing either of those, thanks for the work you guys have put into this. I'm sure there are hundreds of people out there who use it & never say thanks.

So... THANKS!

-Brian

That user has already been in contact with me, and we are working on the solution. I know what I am going to do, and it will work. Thanks though.

There's already a spot to type extended descritpions, just a lack of people to do the typing. You might try View/Get OEM snapshots too. There's a shortage of people taking snapshots to include too.

Tools/Calc Rom Size. You'll see uncompressed size, so it'll be about 25% bigger on average than it's eventually compressed size that's packed into the rom.[/QUOTE]
