yeah I have all that set right steve and in oemizer i have nothing because i found out that makes the problem worse.

in wm6.0 and wm5.0 I would leave on the screen and still get more dings.

I also just have other random problems with notifications. my phone also sticks in vibrate mode somtimes with 6.1 untll i reboot 3 times.

The phone always rings but the other notifications are RANDOM.

is there something with ms vc that could be causing my issue?

Possibly...I dont know enough about the inner machinations of MS VC to make an opinion. Best way to test is to remove it and see if the issue goes away.

I finally got a chance to do the 6.1 upgrade, and I love it. I did have a hard time, though, because I wanted to flash an oem with a Task Manager that I like. The name of the task manager file is taskmgr.exe and the link is Task Manager.lnk. Well, the problem was, NOTHING was checked that should be a Task Manager, yet my OEM was being overwritten by the HTC Task Manager. So, I went into the PPCgeeks_OEM.rar and removed BOTH of the HTC Task Managers and rebuilt. My OEM STILL got overwritten. Then I checked the Apache_kitchen.rar and found that there is a taskmgr.exe module in there and Task Manager.lnk, so I removed both of them and rebuilt. That solved it, so the kitchen crew may consider removing that module, since it really should be an optional OEM.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

I flashed the new rom to my 6700. Its amazing but BT transfer do not work anymore. I can send but not recieve it seems. Seems like a "services" issue. I am trying to bluetooth my contacts from my old phone to the 6700 on the stock rom this was quick and painless. I pair them. on the sanyo I goto send item contacts all yes other phone is ready. the PPC starts getting them I wait till its done and hit save all.

Now the sanyo phone says Connection Failed Device Not Available.

I tried to squirt them to my Zodiac which worked fine and then squirt them back to the 6700 but it goes and goes and eventually just failed (no responce on the 6700)

If I put something in the shared folder I can browse to it from the sanyo just fine! (I installed the bluetooth ftp option) So I know they can talk to each other.

HOW to I enable it so I can send contacts to it? I even tried IR but it seems you can not IR from a palm to a PPC it just says beam disconnected on the zodiac the moment I put them in range of each other.

Hi, Hopefully a quick question. I upgrade my xv6700 to the 6.1 rom and it went great. I did the delete #777 hack so i wouldnt' connect to the EVDO network and get charged. I tried to send a picture message today and I got an error right away stating, Message Delievery Failed or message receipt failed. I tried adding the #777 back with mynumber@vzw3g.com with password fo vzw, left domain blank and i get an error 37 something my mobile IP. Is this a result of the 6.1 or did i mess it up by deleting the #777. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

I assume you are using the Arcsoft MMS in the kitchen? I have intermittent issues sending pic msgs, but then it clears itself up. Not sure why this is. Any takers on this? Are you on Sprint?

Thanks for the quick reply. I am on Verizon. Honestly, I flashed it like 5 times trying to find the right programs that I wanted. I know during those flashes I did select that, but I am not 100% positive I selected that for my last flash. Is there a way I can check?
If I don't have it can I install it seperately? I have getMMCtxMenuIfno in my extended cab, would this work in it's place?

Thanks again.

Open the kitchen and check under the Messaging section. If Arcsoft is checked then it was installed in your last build. If it is not I would suggest a new build to make sure you get the integration correct.

Thanks again.
