ahh thanks so much, it worked what you told me to do. Honestly I should have read the readme, but I did not even look for it. Figured it to be like the last wm6 rom, already configured to run.

Well tonight after work I will upgrade.

this new wm6.1 rom CAN'T be worse than the old wm6 rom right? Because it is the most stable and best rom I have used to date. So I know it can only be an improvement? :D TY

I'm actually back on the WM6 kitchen for a couple of reasons ...

I found the power drain to be about 25 - 30% more with the 6.1 ROM - could never find out what it was... I thought it was the data connection since the icon would never show IDLE; but the drain still seemed to be there with the radio turned off.

Also, I couldn't sync with both my Vista desktop and XP laptop; I'd keep getting errors on one of both sides indicating there was "an error on my desktop" (or something close).

Went back to the 6.0 ROM kitchen and things are back to normal.

I can still see the the screen if I put the phone like sideways, anybody know what happend? I did the WM6 again and I can bearly see the ALIGN SCREEN Setup because its too bright. The phone works, but the screen is bright white. Anybody had this problem before?

You either have a cable problem or an LCD problem. Either is a service call for most people, but it's not too difficult to take it apart if you want to check the cable...

I think I may follow you there.... Other than threaded SMS (which I can get anyhow on 6.0), I'm can't see any other reason to stay on 6.1.

Are you sure?
Screenshot would be nice.
I never saw that before, when putting in the registration.

(If you are joking, that is pretty funny..)
So, are you gonna let the cat out of the bag?

Sorry for the delay.

Yeah, I'm dead serious. The only problem is for me to reproduce it, I'd have to reload my phone again and I just got everything the way I want it. If I go to "About" it says PIE PLUS and "plus" is in red, and right next to it it says, "Vcracked2"

I must have made the same mistake. Never had problems opening BuildOS before, but now that I've updated the files in the kitchen, I get a server error then a login expired error whenever I use my username and password that worked in the past. Now what do I do?

I already posted about this, apparently a cracked version of PIEPlus got into the kitchen by mistake. I believe it's being taken care of.

How do I reset the password to regain access to the kitchen?

I need help. I DL and installed the Kitchen on my PC and as I inserted my login and password my finger slipped when entering the password. I am locked out.

Djallen, you're good to go.
PiePlus is already taken care of.
glpenguin, if you still can't log in, you have firewall/proxy issues.
