WM6 Txt Messaging Issue

I upgraded to WM6 using Helmi's latest kitchen. Now when I recieve a text message, the from line is the first word of the text and I can't reply to it because obviously the first word isn't the number it came from. Anyone else experience this and how do you fix it? Loving WM6 other than that.

Edit: It's also not alerting me when I reveive a text. I have it set to play a sound and vibrate but it does neither. It just turns on the phone and that's it. ??? Any ideas?

Bump I had the same problem but it's fixed somehow when I synced my contacts back to the PPC.

That didn't change anything for me.

I'm going to try making another rom without PocketCM. I think texts may have worked properly before I added that. Can't remember though. If someone knows what causes this and how to fix it though that would be great.

Im having the same issue.... Im really new at this but I am learning..any ideas would be great. I don't have PocketCM on my edition.

I have a different issue...not so much issue but peve. When i get into text messaging it is really slow. There is a small delay from when I hit a key to when the character actually shows up.

BUMP, I am having the same issue and it scares me to death. I can't imagine having to downgrade to WM5, if thats possible. I sure hope someone can solve this.

Are you guys letting the customizations rum or something. Are you doing a hard reset after cooking you ROM. Both of these have caused this issue I think.

Thanks for the replies. I got it to work a while ago after finding that thread. I guess I didn't search the right terms originally before I posted this question. Doing a hard reset and not letting the customizations run worked. Still using pocketcm too.
