Had the same problem when I changed to a new phone.....

start at about post 211 (I think)

When I finally took the phone OUT of BL mode and flashed it finally worked!!!
(were you flashing in BL mode??)

I'm actually going to upgrade to the latest version of the ROM today, I'll let you know if the problem recurs or persists...
