What settings are in your personal OEM? Compare the registry before you change regional settings and after and you'll find what you're missing.

I set my personal OEM to set the time to H:mm:ss, which seems to set correctly when I build the ROM.

Speaking of comparing registry changes are there any tools that allow for the comparison of reg changes before and after?

Thanks,
Steve

I set the time to H:mm:ss in my personal OEM. This sets correctly in the registry but the plugin does not reflect the change. I will continue to look.

Speaking of comparing reg changes are there any tools that allow for the comparison of before and after registries for Windows Mobile devices? I cannot seem to find any.

Thanks,
Steve

There are a couple of tools built especially for comparing before and after snapshots, but I find the simplest way is to use .fred's registry editor to export the registry before and after, copy the files to my PC, then use windiff (EDIT: WinMerge). For massive registry changes, you need something to put the two dumps in the same order (dumps are in modification order, not in alphabetic order). Tools to do that exist too.

Problems with IE - "connection was lost"

I am having problems with my connection. It works intermittently over EVDO. I get "opening" or "looking" and eventually the browser times out with the following error: "the page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. Check the connection and try again later".

I have tried to change my DNS and alt DNS from "auto" to 208.67.222.222 (220) but that did not help. I have not previously had this issue prior to the WM6 upgrade. Any suggestions to fix this?

I had this issue after using the previous kitchen's ROM. I just started using the newest ROM/Kitchen and haven't seen it since. I did select some different items, but nothing that I could figure was causing this behavior. It might have just "needed" a hard reset.:???:

UPDATE: I'm seeing this behavior again... but only when I select IE from the start/programs menu. When I press the hardkey on the side, IE opens fine. When I select IE from the Start menu, everything seems to open fine, but the window is blank.

Dont know if this is a bug or what, but Jeyo SMS backup will not restore a file. Keeps saying no files to restore.

Do you have a file to restore? If you didn't save to SD card or your PC, when you hard reset your file was deleted

This has happened with stock roms

I don't think this is a problem with tweaking your ROM's. Before I began tweaking my phone (6700 on vzw) I was getting the exact same error mesage..typically when loading more complex (large files and graphics) pages.

The problem was intermittent, and thankfully only happened when using PIE.
My email was unaffected. Maybe there is a reg tweak or two to fix this but in my case it was not caused by flashing from the kitchen.

ok here's something I think may be a bug...the camera will not allow me to save pics to my storage card...4gb mini sdhc...I can do everything else but when I try and take a pic I get an error "unable to capture photo not enough memory" it allows me to select the card as an option but refuses to let me save to it...I have sd+sdhc drivers from the kitchen and a sprint specific rom baked up...anyone else with this issue?

Saved it on my memory card.
