Thanks Steve,
I had asked someone else to test that and they had confirmed the same limitation with sdhc. Glad it's working for you. tmb

I have 2 6 gig Sandisk microSDHC cards, with both of them, if there is over 2gig free space I get the error in the attached screen shot. Once I fill the card with 4 gig of stuff, it saves to the card fine. Maybe we could be looking at different versions of either camera software, sdhc driver, sdcard manufacturer or phone hardware version. I have the HTC Camera app Version 3.00 Build 22844 from the kitchen, as well as the SDHC drivers in the kitchen, Sandisk sdhc cards (6gb) and my phone is Version 1 hardware. Maybe we can figure out what the limiting piece of the puzzle is?

I also have the Sandisk 6 gig sdhc card, camera version 3 build 22844 from the kitchen, and the same SDHC drivers. I am not sure what version hardware I have...how do I tell that?

Only way I know of is to go into bootloader mode and see what version of bootloader you have. 1.0x bootloader is Version 1 hardware, 2.0x bootloader is Version 2 hardware.

Sometimes, my phone runs *REALLY* slow

I have noticed this on both the latest (20071217) and previous (20071117) WM6 Kitchens.

I have found that my phone will occasionally seem like it is hung during boot-up, where looks like it is stuck on the default green "Windows Mobile" screen - but it isn't stuck, just VERY slow.

Where a normal boot-up takes about 40 seconds, it will take over 5 minutes for my phone to come up. Even after it is done booting, it is still running just as slow, where it can take over a minute just to see the WM Start Menu. Rebooting the phone and letting it come up fully doesn't usually clear up this problem.

Removing my SD card had no effect.

The only "fix" I have found is to let the phone partially reboot, and hit the reset switch after the green "Windows Mobile" screen has been displayed for a minute or two.

After the problem is cleared, the phone seems to operate fine - even after resetting again.

Ideas?

I'm sure I have a weird registry entry causing this. Since I never was able to get the exchange email settings to work when building the personal OEM, I was able to find the registry settings for my exchange email account when I manually set up the account to be able to use activesync on the phone to retrieve my office email. All seemed to go fine, and the first day (Monday) I received office emails. Now, sitting in my office, watching emails coming in, nothing on the phone. Even with it scheduled to sync "as items arrive." Manually syncing also doesn't bring the emails, but it does say "Synchronizing folders" and "Looking for changes." I don't have a clue what this is about. Any help?

After uploading with the latest kitchen I noticed that part of my bar turns green. If I open wmtask he green goes away but a glossy tab remains over the word start in the top bar. Any idea what this and the seperator is coming from?

Hi, my phone has the weirdest bug! Not sure if it is some type of virus or something related to the WM6 upgrade. Ever since I upgraded my phone using the old HTC Verizon package and then shortly after receiving a MMS video from an unknown number, my phone has been getting very weird. I would be bombarded with call waiting like tone when I receive or make a call. It happens frequently and sporadically, making it very hard to talk on the phone with all the interruptions, sometimes the interruptions are so bad (like every second of the call) that I had to drop the call and use a different phone. If I don't drop the call, the line will drop at around 40-50 seconds of call time by itself. Needless to say it is very very annoying. btw, this only happens on voice calls.. data transfers are fine.

So could it be some kind of virus? but then I flashed the ROM (hard reset) or reinstalled a couple of times with the old HTC Verzion upgrade and then again with the brand new Kitchen (Customizable ROM) upgrade. If it is some kind of virus, do I need to do something that is equivalent to a low level format? (I don't know how).. or could it be something that is initiated by Verizon to stop people from using an unauthorised upgrade? I am not seeing people posting anything about aggressive call waiting signals and drop calls though so I am confused... why my phone..?! please help.. thank you so much.

I can't wait till the 2nd gen Iphone comes out. I need to trash this phone anyway! its so slow, buggy (pre-upgrade) and bulky. But in the meantime, I need to stick with it.. ugh....

Thanks,
Bernard
