wow...just wow...I've been waiting for touchflo and touch cube to work on the 6700 for ages now...and while ftouchflo was good, this is the first version that actually works for me...best thing ever!
who needs a touch now??? plus this makes me stay on verizon's network (new customer...2 year contract till 2009)

I guess I am online support for these apps that I did not write :D

You can tell FTouchFlo which apps you don't want it messing with, you just need to add the app (by name) to the exception list, then soft reset.

I am unsure which of these two config files is the right one, for now, I'm just coping one over the other when I make a change... It would probably be useful for someone to figure out which one is actually used ;)

\Program Files\FTouchFlo\FTouchFloConfig.txt
\Program Files\Touch Flo\FTouchFloConfig.txt

Edit - it's just the last one you need to edit.

ok before install 17mb storage and 17 program memory..after install and a soft reset
12mb storage and 18 program...maybe the 12mb storage gives me the sluggish performance

Ok, so now I really really love the 6700 again ;)

I installed FTouchFlo_v1.4.1.CAB and HTCCube2.cab, soft reset, and started flipping cubes ;)

All files from xda, and developed by all the great folks there, included here for ease of use. Consider it early alpha stuff, I don't think any of this is romable just yet but once it all stableizes it would make a great OEM.

Somewhat big download, 1.1MB zipped, > 5MB unzipped

How Does It Work

Swipe your finger or the stylus up from the bottom (midscreen) to bring up the cube. If you are using your finger, you'll probably have to press a little harder then you would think - mind those fingernails!. Pretty much it works like the touch.

Issues/Support :)

You can tell FTouchFlo which apps you don't want it messing with, you just need to add the app (by name) to the exception list, then soft reset.

Edit \Program Files\Touch Flo\FTouchFloConfig.txt

Good apps to add to the exceptions list:
S2U2 - so cube actions don't work when your screen is locked via S2U2
Notes - so you can draw in notes with ease

So add
Exclude:S2U2
Exclude:Notes

Then soft-reset

Known problems - if you use device lock FTouchFlo doesn't play well.

Keep an eye on the actual FTouchFlo development thread over at xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=338143

pow,
Your reaction sounds like mine in the first 5 minutes after installing. You call up the cube on the today screen by using your thumb to swipe up from the very bottom on the today screen. Gotta press kind of hard and go up about half way. Once it's up, swipe left, right, down (closes) - try to swipe on the lines. Have fun. tmb

If I remember right the Cube was a running process after reset but took practically no resources before I started it up. I was looking in MemMaid to see whether they even ran after installation.

Bump on this one! My 6700 too frequently needs to have its screen realigned but this is not possible (without removing the startup shortcuts for FTouch from the Windows\Startup folder and resetting).

p0ww0ww0w 11-20-2007 07:53 PM

i did move my thumb from the bottom to the top of the screen. and when i restart it is says ftouchflo already running everytime. is there a way to check whether its running or not cus it doesnt show up in the running programs.
