Re: HTC Performance (overclocking) OEM

So I installed the cab on my 6700 but when I go to setting and click on it nothing happens. Does it only work with 6.0 and up cuz im still on 5.0?

Anyway to see this speed increase in a program? I can use TCPMP and look under options/settings/general and it would give a speed reading(maybe a bit off but close)... With PHM OC'd to 520 while playing a vid TCPMP would read the speed increase, with htc performance OC'd to 520 TCPMP still showed 420(aka 416 stock)... And the video still ran choppy... Any ideas?

Ok SPB Benchmark results for just cpu speeds

Native 416mhz:
Whetstones MFlop 5207ms
Whetstones MOPS 1600ms
Whetstones MWIPS 10309ms

Performance 520mhz:
Whetstones MFlop 5195ms
Whetstones MOPS 1588ms
Whetstones MWIPS 10361ms

Performance 624mhz:
Whetstones MFlop 5208ms
Whetstones MOPS 1585ms
Whetstones MWIPS 10332ms

So... weird. Will play with this some more and figure out what's going on - possibly its all in my head

Not sure what's going on... maybe it's not actually working after all...
xcpuscaler 520mhz:
Whetstones MFlop 3816ms
Whetstones MOPS 882ms
Whetstones MWIPS 7899ms

Those are the results you would expect - 25% faster. xcpuscaler seems unstable under WM6 but it clearly speeds things up.

it still autoscales so you have to do something that will push your procesor up to the peak speed, and catch it there...

after using it a short while, it definitly does speed things up, not as much as xcpu, but I like it, I can finaly get rid of autostep...

What's odd is that I 'think' my phone (6700) runs faster @ 520 than @ 624.
Could be just my head messing with me.

Other than that, I've been running HTC Performance since the WM6 kitchen came out, and it's been stable for me. No issues. (well, check that, 1 weird graphic lockup, but that could be due to dropping my phone a few times).
