Question sms delivery notification

I am missing the "delivery notification" options in the sms application. How do I get them back or is there a registry entry I can use?

I want to be notified when a sms txt message is received by a receipient.

Yes, I have searched the forum for "delivery notification" but couldn't find anything relevant.
As this is the first ROM I have cooked (with the new wm6 kitchen and buildos) it's possible I have fouled things up. Don't see how tho, unless it's an obscure bug. It flashed to the phone fine, everything else seems to work.. (delivery notification was there and worked on wm5).

Thanks for any help. I am very impressed with the work that Helmi, luv2chill, etc have done and I like the new wm6. Atleast I have the character count back again lol

You will need a registry editor. Please try changing one of these entries to the value shown below. I'm not actually sure which one (or both) are the correct one, so if you don't mind testing to see which one works and letting us all know that would be great.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s]
"SMSDeliveryNotify"=dword:1
"DisableSMSDeliveryReceipt"=dword:0

Thanks! it worked! The relevant key needs to be changed to the below:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s]
"DisableSMSDeliveryReceipt"=dword:0

When this is done, the option in text messages>menu>tools>options>text messages now appears again.

Outside of entering a message, you may select it to set the default. Inside editing a message you may turn it on or off for that message and also set the message priority. Just like in previous versions.

The other registry key just records what you have set via "text messages>menu>tools>options>text messages" and will do nothing without the other key being set to 1; it is safely ignored.

Thanks luv2chill!!

Can someone try http://www.harkinstheatres.com/ on their phone to see if it locks up? Mine does, and I'm in 1x. The phone totally locks. Start button doesn't work, X button from QuickMenu doesn't work. Hard buttons don't work. Reset does.

It worked fine on mine in 1x area. Try http://youtube.com ,and hit classic view. See if that locks up on yours as well Yuma. If it does try building your ROM without the flash programs and see if that is the culprit.

Here's my build. I notice when loading the harkinstheatres.com page, that PIE climbs to 3 MB, but I still had 14 MB memory left, so that wasn't low enough to really cause a lockup. CPU usage doesn't seem to climb too high either. Wonder what it is. I may hard reset and test after a fresh hard reset.
