Either ImCokeMan or luv2chill had pointed out that it makes more sense installing Picsel as a cab rather than an oem because an oem lives in both the windows directory and the program files directory, so you're using twice the storage space you need to. Use the cab so you can fit more in your base rom.

If someone could build OEM packages for Opera 8.65 and/or Palingro, that would be great. I tried to do so myself before, but something about it didn't work as neither app would run

I tried to update J Baby's PhoneWeaver 1.02 OEM to 1.16, but I broke it. I was trying to just replace older files with newer ones, and it may be more complex than that.

The Build OS still worked great though.

Many moons ago, I had an OEM for Picsel Browser. The main executable lived quite nicely in \Windows, not taking up any precious storage space.

It's not the exe--it's literally everything else. The cab I'm looking at has 29 files in it, and all but 3 need to be copied elsewhere.

Right, now that I'm thinking back, I only had the EXE in an OEM. I installed the rest from a cab I stored on my miniSD. I stand corrected.

Still a good way to save some storage space if your ROM's not already too big.
