Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

I cant sync my device to my VISTA Ultimate 64, pc, since my (5060)update. The PC makes the sound when I plug in the device, but no connection.. any thoughts?

5060? That's for Titan, not Apache. Which device do you have, and how far through boot do you get?

This comes from a file format incompatibility. We are fixing the underlying issue, and working on detecting the problem.

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

The version of Viigo in the Kitchen is old. The newest version has some nice new features. Is this the appropriate place to post about out dated software versions??

EDIT: I don't see a problem with the downloads.
Do this:
1) edit (using your favorite text editor) "c:\program files\ppckitchen.org\buildos\updater\sections_buil dos.xml"
2) delete the lines starting with <SECTION name="buildos" (you will have 1 or 2)
3) run updater and select only the BuildOS update

Alternatively, you can uninstall/download/reinstall BuildOS.msi

If I click OK after that nothing happens. I'm running Vista Enterprise 32-bit and started BuildOS as administrator. Anyone know why I'm getting this error?
Thanks.

I had the same problem and re-installing Build OS did the trick.

Now, I just have to learn how to calculate my own ROM size as I go along.

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

i too have been receiving the "Unable to find an entry point named 'PreLoadMemoryFile' in DLL 'imgfstools.dll'". First time it's happened since i most recently updated the kitchen. tried uninstalling, and deleting buildos dierctory manually and installing from scratch. I also updated each item individually. Additionally, I only updated items pertaining to Apache. Still to no avail...

any suggestions?

running XP SP2 btw

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

Update again, this time updating the BuildOS components - you are missing the most recent imgfstools.dll. Or download the current .msi and reload entirely.

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

Install activesync 4.5. It's a free download from Microsoft.
