Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here
Hmm...that is the bootloader version. You symptom (colored dot's on splash screen at top) is a typical symptom of overfilling a rom. That shouldn't be possible w/ v1.00 bootloader selected in kitchen. If you manage to reproduce this, please post your selections.txt

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here
I'm not sure how to search posts, so I am going to ask if someone can help me with this. I have a PPC-6700 originally an ALLTEL phone. Version 1.00. I have been sucessfully built and loaded ROMs but to flash it to Cricket and when I dial *228 it sends me to the Verizon Network. What do I need to do to get this phone in Cricket network?

Can someone explain the different bootloader pros and cons?

So it is not possible to overfill a 1.00 bootloader phone ROM partition??? (at least up to the maximum flash mem installed)? What are the numbers for 1.00, 1.02, 2+, etc and are there other differences besides the size of the ROM partition? I would like to look at my partition(s). Is there software (PPC partition magic, qparted, etc) which does this non-destructively? I am aware of mTTY, butI have not had any reason to use it, can it look at the partition structure w/o making changes? Or is my partition analogy bunk? Thanks again!! |

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here
Are there any plans to make it so OEMs specify what phones they will work on? So when you select device type (Apache or Titat atm) it hides the ones that won't work.

Changing imgfsEnd from 0x3f00000 to 0x3f40000 Warning: Storage Partition Not found. ImgFs Flash Region log blocks was 0x38c, now is 0x390 No Storage Flash Region found! Done!
