Problem with BuildOS in Kitchen Revision 071107_2.

Downloaded and ran Kitchen EXE. Extracted to new directory C:\BuildOS
Went to C:\BuildOS
Ran Shortcut for Kitchen
Attempted to save default configuration to another file
Received the following error

"Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"

Happens with or without PPCGeeks_OEM.rar. Does not happen with previous rev's kitchen.

EDIT: It seems to be related to the PatchDir=Patches. If I have that in the default config and I attempt to save it to another file it crashes. If I remove it, it can save fine. I removed the .svn file which didn't do anything.

Any one else experience this?

Win Vista Business 32 bit. B/L 1.00

Luckily I have an XP machine sitting here so I just succesfully flashed with that... but I'd like to figure out what is going on with RUU. I followed the instructions from modaco's site to the "T" and had successfully loaded an older ROM using it on my Vista machine.

Any suggestions? I'm sure I did something stupid or forgot something.

Hey -- I have a laptop Dell E1705 running Vista 32-bit and have the same problem when plugged into either of the 2 side USB ports. When plugged into the rear port, it goes away. However, in order to have any success, I have to right-click the exe as select "Run as Administrator" -- I also seem to need to do this in order to have the BuildOS run properly too. I hope this helps you out.

The quick way is if you aren't using patches. If you aren't, open Apache_Helmi_WM6 Selections.txt and remove the PatchDir=Patches line. Then open the kitchen. It should save just fine.

I'll give that a try in the AM. Thanks.. I was plugged into the 2 side USB slots. Didn't even think of that one...

This new BuildOS simply won't complete.
Here is my log... I'll try taking more stuff out, but I thought this would work.
I thought it was the personalized OEM, but I took that out too, and it still gives me the same errors.

Update:
Stripped it way down. Still get the .hv errors.
Looks like something to do with the control panel sounds, but I didn't mess with any of that.
Second log attached.

This seems to be the where the failure occurs:
Failed to parse value name HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds!!!
InitRegistry FAILED in file ".\Registry\e54c0e41-3f65-4d9f-b104-4245cc434a86.rgu" within a few lines of line 50.
ImportFromPackageListStrict: (RGUComp) !ERROR failed importing ".\Registry\e54c0e41-3f65-4d9f-b104-4245cc434a86.rgu"

I'm also getting the following error when I try to save my configurations:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index.

If I click Continue, it allows me to save a txt file, but it is 0Kb and useless.
Quit works as designated. :???:
