I'm having a small issue and I've search this thread plus all the other ones.

I'm on the latest Helmi Mod and have been since it came out. I up'd to the rev right before the 11/17 update and it's like a rock.

However, one problem I've been having is the volume in the earpiece. BT is fine, but the ear piece stinks.

I've done the 13k tweek and turned off evdo and I've done the Vol tweek to 95k in the registry.

is anyone else having this issue?

Maybe I'm missing a thread about it somewhere? Maybe I'm just getting older and my hearing is getting worse?

Any ideas? wanna kick me and tell me to look at another thread?

Many thanks.

I need some help! I'm a newbie in all this but I have been trying to read everything in order to better inform myself. Whenever I run "Apache_Helmi_WM6 PPC-BuildOS" I get messages saying "unknown carrier type" "Module PPCGeeks_OEM.rar not found" and a whole bunch of other modules not found including Cyberon Voice Commander, HTC Smartdialing and Office Excel Powerpoint Word. I don't know if this is an error or not.

I then select my carrier (Verizon) and press the play button to build rom. When asked to open a Project File, I select "Verizon" from the Tools folder and hit next. I then hit "Encode" in the next screen but I always get a "Failed to get FAT16 filesize" error message. Please help me! I really want to get this working right! I have been searching all over the forums and I have been reading all the "readme" and help pdfs but I am still at a dead end.

Look on the toolbar. You'll find another carrier selection box. You need to select Verizon in that one, too.

The "Module PPCGeeks_OEM.rar not found" error indicates you do not have PPCGeeks_OEM.rar in your installation directory (c:\buildos, by default). It's a seperate download from the kitchen. Do not extract it's contents after downloading...just put the .rar file in your installation directory. You don't have to have this file to bulid a ROM, but you won't get all the optional OEMs if you don't (which is why you got the later errors).

First off I would like to send a big thank you to everyone who was involved in putting this thing together, it's awesome! Relieved a lot of frustration I had been having with WM5.

With that said, I do have ONE question. I ran through the Kitchen, build ROM, and flashed my phone (works great). However, I am trying to go back a include some additional features that I didn't select in the beginning. Whenever I go and select everything it goes through building the ROM then asks me to put my phone in bootloader which I do. After that it just says done and to do a hard reset and no new ROM is added. Any ideas how to change this?

Thanks in advance!

Are you re-running your old selection list? Try reloading and saving as(your build) and then run Build OS. It may be reverting to your previous selections (no idea why...).
Repost with your selections .txt file and the Build OS log file so we can see wassup wid de malfunction.

I'm not really having volume issues (Plantronics Discovery 655) but I have noticed connection issues... Randomly it loses connection, sometimes it loses pairing when I get a text during a call, and it will not reconnect after a reset. Tried everything I know. Gonna reflash and see if I can fix it.

Hrm. My selections file is up but I cant put the build log, it's simply too big. Is there any particular part that would be more useful than others that I can cut out into another doc?
