Error 100 Model ID Error.

I used this kitchen without any problems on my 6700, but I had to return it to Verizon because of a dead spot on the screen. I did put it back to the original ROM before I took it in. Verizon replaced it not problem, but the new one had bootloader 2.05. So I put 2.02 on it (following the thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=7820 - I downloaded the nk.nbf, radio.nbf and ms_.nbf from http://www.utstar.com/pcd/uts_downloads.aspx
and put then in the No_ID folder as directed). Now my bootload screen says 2.02.

When I tried to put the same ROM that was on my last 6700 on the replacement Error 100 Model ID Error came up and I had to quit. What is going on? HELP!!!!

Switched from Standard to noID and it worked. But I didn't have to do that with my first phone. Why would this be?

I don't know what causes it but I had to do the very same thing with my replacement phone earlier this week. As long as it works I am ok with it.

ok i have a 6700 boot loader v1.00 and im getting connection error 150. keeps telling me that it cannot connect to the phone

im running vista... i tried to put BL v2.02 on it but because i have vista there are missing files in computer... i tried to add those. i have no idea how to use mtty... basiclly my problem is that i have Helmi previous version on WM6 on my phone and the text emssages are giving me problems. when a mesage is recieved, the first word of the message is the "sender" and then the body is the rest of the message... so when i hit reply, it tried to reply to the "sender" aka the first word of the mesage. i tht that this version might correct that problem. if not just help me find a way to fix it and ill be happy with the old version.

Reinstall MDC.

The SMS message problem you have is an old one...I have a vague recollection that this was caused by people failing to hard reset after flashing the ROM.

Are any updates going to be made to this release or are they done with it?

The next release will be WM6.1. PPCgeeks_OEM will be updated at the same time.

We'll probably re-release WM6, unchanged other than to work with the latest buildos.
