Those sounds are played when you turn the phone part on or off. Also plays "phoneOn" on soft reset. I disable it in the registry because they're annoying. But then again, you probably don't turn it off and on 6 to 10 times a day.
So here you go: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction \CDMA\FlightModeOnOFF] "EnableSound"=dword:00000001 "Sound_off"="\\windows\\PhoneOff.wav" "Sound_on"="\\windows\\PhoneOn.wav" Change the dword to :0000000 to disable.

No thats not it. I tested a sprint rom on my phone. When you soft reset your phone. During the second splash screen it plays a sound. Thats what im talking about. Not turning off the radio.
But thanks anyway. |

Well um .....Yes that is it.
The sound you hear on soft reset IS the radio turning on. If you turn the radio off and then soft reset, you hear "phoneOff" on boot instead. I just tested it by enabling and disabling the reg entry. oops: looks like I double posted. Last edited by av8tr; 11-06-2007 at 02:53 PM. |

My bad. You are right. It didn't work because there is a space after PhoneExtendFunction. I guess i was to sleepy last night to catch it. Last edited by KidGixxer; 11-06-2007 at 03:12 PM. |
