WM6 Txt Messaging Issue

I upgraded to WM6 using Helmi's latest kitchen. Now when I recieve a text message, the from line is the first word of the text and I can't reply to it because obviously the first word isn't the number it came from. Anyone else experience this and how do you fix it? Loving WM6 other than that.

Edit: It's also not alerting me when I reveive a text. I have it set to play a sound and vibrate but it does neither. It just turns on the phone and that's it. ??? Any ideas?
