This is happening in a few apps, such as WMP and PocketPlayer. I believe it has something to do with the SD card tweaks that have been applied in this kitchen. Try CorePlayer...for some reason, it seems to be working better for me. Good luck!

Best,
MJB

I second Core Player or it's previous freeware form TCPMP.
Not a problem with these.

Official kitchen! Way cool. Verizonguy has been doing an amazing job on his (in fact I think he deserves an award!) but it will be nice to see what surprises are in it!

Hey VG; any idea what is making the battery drain so fast with your release?

  • Windows Live doesn't let me access my Hotmail email. I can set my account up OK, but my Hotmail email doesn't appear as an account under my Messaging application.
  • When attempting a Sync with Outlook 2007, my work PC lost my previously established ActiveSync partnership with my XV6700.
  • Sometimes, it takes about 5 minutes for my XV6700 to boot up from a soft reset.
  • Internet Sharing via USB is still flakey, requiring turning off Bluetooth temporarily in order to allow my PC to acquire an IP address. If I turn on Bluetooth after establishing a good PC connection, I can plug in / remove my USB cable and reestablish another Internet Sharing session without any problems ... until I reset the XV6700 again.
If anything else pops up today, I'll let y'all know!

GotJazz or anyone else, Have you figured out the Hotmail issue yet.

Autio Manager from HTC Home Music Player

Thank you verizonguy and helmi and everyone else who contributed to this wonderful project!

I tried to search the forums on how i can change the Launch Music Player to launch HTC Audio Manager instead of Windows Media Player but was unable to find any information.

If anyone could help a newbie out :( .... i thank you very much

Sure, install this attachment. It lets you customise the HTC Home plugin, and lets you choose media players, change the icons, clock, etc. It's essential equipment for the plugin.

Trick or Treat! ;-)

That's interesting! (and not in a good way)

I know with my phone, it is definitely reading from the "Voicemail:" entry box, since when I push any button to dial voicemail from any application, it dials my voicemail number + access code.

I'm afraid that I don't have an answer for that!

Nope. I haven't found a solution yet. I may go back to AKU3.5.04 soon.
