VG, thanks for the reply. Yes, when I go to settings, system, there are no power or back light icons there! Is there a certain OEM that controls these icons specifically?? I moved a lot of the optional OEMs out and may have moved one I shouldn't have.

Also, my IR doesn't work either, yes, I turned on receive all beams, and still nothing. Again maybe I removed something I shouldn't have.

Other than that YAHOO for all your hard work and the hard work of the others who helped making this kitchen.

I have flashed my phone a dozen times this week trying new things and just when I think I am where I want to be, someone comes out with something new and I am flashing again!!!

I flashed my wife's phone last night and then tried the IR. Hers would not send to mine.

Thanks, bug confirmed. Helmi's original wm6 apache roms had IR broken, but I had fixed it with my aku 0.4.2 rom, but now with the aku 0.7.0 kitchen, it is in fact broken again :)

I'll see what i can do.

oh phew. i know i had asked this a second time and i had been sitting here thinking i screwed something up cause i couldnt get my IR to work! thanks. and in case you dont know verizonguy...this is the most kick ass rom ive ever used!
