commend you on your great work verizonguy.
i downloaded ur 6b kitchen and started working with it. to get to the extended rom tool and not find the reliance india prj file there.. maybee u missed it coz the reliance version is there in the original wm6 from helmi . its extended rom is there in ur packege of the oems. so if u could load up the prj file or do the neccessary change for that..please.
thanks

you simply need the carrier code.
Take the original helmi rom you downloaded (http://rapidshare.com/files/52162368/Reli0.rar.html) and use the HTC64 tool to decode it. This will generate the prj file for you with a carrier code. Just take the carrier code and use one of the other prj files replacing the carrier code.

If you want to zip it up and attach it to this thread I'll include it in future kitchen downloads.

[QUOTE=verizonguy;108841]1) There are 3 different versions of the comm manager in the kitchen. Simply check off the one you want and uncheck the other 2. The newest 10 button one from the Kaiser is already selected by default, so you shouldn't have to change anything.
2) You are confused about the wireless manager. You have both the wireless manager and the comm manager. The wireless manager is accessed via the settings->connections cpl. The 10 button comm manager is accessed via the htc home plugin, or via a tray item that I have left disabled. Click the icon to the right of the sunshine icon, then click the icon in the top left corner.

In Devel4 ROM the 10 button comm manager was the default, both when you tapped the wireless manager in the Settings tab, and also when you wireless manager on the signal stength icon on the 6700. Now the original wireless manager is defaulting there. This is even if I select the 10 button comm manager in the kitchen...any ideas?

Waiting patiently for the 6800 now that you have made the same decision. I just returned my i760 yesterday since you will not develop for it. I really wish the Tytn II would come out for CDMA soon. I love the AT&T Tilt.

I'm just trying to see if I can ween myself off of HTC Home as I love the new one line notification plugin you added.

I made a cab and an oem package. Enjoy.

Comm Manager/Wireless Manager

Ok I have just flashed back to Devel4 and have confirmed that the 10 button comm manager defaults in both the Connections tab and also when tapping Wireless Manager when you tap on the radio strength icon. In both of these places the default is the old wireless manager when I use the 0.6b kitchen. Is this a GUID issue possibly?

Thanks,
Steve

That's a sprint data connection error. Make sure you're checking off the sprint ext rom package. Beyond that, ask some sprint peeps :)

I havent been able to get my Extended RO
to show up after the 99% error.

You're right, when running the utility it appears to work, but doesn't actually apply the setting to the registry. In the mean time, if you need to hide/unhide the extended_rom, manually edit the registry:

Hide:
Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Bootphase"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000001

Unhide:
Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Bootphase"=dword:00000002
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000000

I believe those were all the same issue--files being hidden in error.

Not sure what you mean there. Cyberon (standard voice dial app that comes with verizon roms) is included, selected by default and works in 0.1 & 0.2. Select it when making your rom & select voice speed dial from programs or push the message button on the side of your phone.

Thanks!
I added MSVC UK (no .exe) It works just like the US version, has that sexy British accent :-)

I just flashed 0.6b and since 0.4 the shortcuts for modem link and Wmodem haven't shown up in the programs folder. I have the oems checked and i can go to the windows folder and execute wmodem.exe. Is this happening to anyone else? I noticed that there isn't an initflashfiles.txt shoudn't there be one?
