Well so far I have Manila 2.5.2016 working with SYS 21907 on my US HD2; I only have a few extra things that showed up. Anyone know how to get rid of these off the settings menu (AGPS (network location service), and Personal info management (IP dial))? Tracked this down to the 2016 SENSE\Manila_Settings*\ however can't find where to remove this yet, or what to change.
And for the Manila Internet it shows "CMCC search" which I am working to override with something else becuase it don't work (default search feature).

EDIT: Found what to change for the "CMCC search" copy your "Internet_Pages.xml" file from Sense 2014 to 2016 \Manila_Internet*\files directory, now google will be available.
Also, I loaded the files to the DIY kitchen, I haven't tried any of this with the EVK kitchen. Sense is working good so far for the last couple of hours.
EDIT2: added pics, and also CHT 1.8 showing smaller hold spots? Found the fix, however CHT1.8 got upgraded last night to CHT 1.8.5; downloaded put in kitchen and trying it now. Have this working, just an issue with the shortcut key "Menu\Cookie's Home Tab Editor" showing not installed; however it's there in the "Start\Programs\Extras" and it works by selecting it manually. Will update if I find anything else.
EDIT3: fixed the Cookie Editor, be sure if you change the directories in the .dat file you follow through for example:
Directory("\Windows")Directory("Start Menu") <=added this
Directory("\Windows\Start Menu")Directory("Programs") <=added this
Directory("\Windows\Start Menu\Programs")Directory("Extras") had this originally and it didn't work until I added the above lines.

So my question is can we use the 23662? or are we waiting for something along the lines of 23570 etc?

Could you post your erv file for 2016/21907 combo? My rom didn't get past the first 'progress bar' screen. When I cooked 21907 w/ 2016 on my TP2, I got a few errors here and there (which I bet I could fix if i felt like redoing it).. These dsm files are confusing, its my first gsm phone too.

I'm using the DIY kitchen, so no ERV files here, DSM files are just needed to rip the ROM back apart, not to put it together.

Howdy, well here we go, I'll try to explain this best I can.
I tweaked out all the files I had to get everything working good, I borrowed from here there everywhere and put it together in 1 package to get sense 2016 to cooperate well, this is tested and working great on my HD2.

This has the entire SENSE 2016 package & lower all in one file location and The new messaging client.
If you use this you MUST use this set in it's entirety, and disable all your old ones listed in the directory/ LEO_Packages_Manila
This one labeled: LEO_Packages_Manila_2016_Working has everything needed loaded into it, and the packages fixed so all your tabs will work.
Next goto your directory /LEO_External_Packages and disable HTC_Messaging_Client_1_5... and goto directory \LEO_External_Packages_MSG1_8 and enable HTC_Messaging_Client_1_8...

This should clear up any hic-ups in that issue.
Next for the 21907 stuff.

It is setup to drop into the SYS & ROM locations but be sure to erase the 21907 directories you have already there.
The directories in the SYS that have _Skip I didn't cook into my working ROM's and it's working beautifully on my HD2.

Absolutely agree! And enjoy that cold beverage! I myself am gonna play, just got my cable fixed after 3 days, twas the heat they say...

Last summer I remember smelling what seemed like birthday candles.. Then my cable went out.. The coax cable coming in from the street was melted like you wouldn't believe. I have the video somewhere. I cut it and put on a compression fitting.. very very carefully - even tho cable lines are relatively harmless, that old wire scared the logic out of me. I wore mechanics gloves. heh...

If your cable modem is unable to obtain a downstream signal, chances are you have a physically messed up cable line.. disconnection.. fire.. whatever. If its the upstream thats failing to obtain a lock... thats because you have too many splits before your cable modem and its 'screaming' its digital lungs out at -58dbmV (FCC regulation) to try to contact your provider. The upstream can be a PITA.

Thank you very much Nibbley. What was wrong with the 21907 posted earlier? I know that the lockscreenNonEA folder was missing from my tp2 kitchen. That was a blast to the past (to see the 6.1 lock screen).
