Whats with the ac3 file in \SYS\21915\SHARED\COMMON\gb18030.. what is gb18030 anyway? Have you tried out 2018?

Rocking that now, just figuring out what does and doesn't work with it... I seem to have discombobulated my facebook tab though, and I wanna try and fix that later today. If anyone can help, it's when I launch mail within the tab, opera comes up with an "unable to parse xml file" error. Ah well, I got all day to beat my brain on.

Manila 2018 working. You do need current dependentices.

hthomas, could you post that along with a list of dependencies? I know that there is a special starticonlauncher, and that you have to use a couple 'old version' tabs in place of the new one - people tab is one I know of for sure.

2018 did not work for me. Just says "click here to launch htc sense". Notification enhancement worked -but comm manager was old school. I had all the dependencies enabled. I had contact picker and contact utility engine included as well. Anyone know how to properly remove oboe?

It xis setup to work with all the tabs that are included in the download. I cook for the TP2 and it works for me. I did update all but one dependentices and most all the kitchen as well with oboe and leo packages. I dont use facebook, twitter or bluetooth?

I can get 2018 working fine...Until 200 users start looking for small icon differences...I do have to reboot the machine to get sense to launch after a flash.

You'all should archive your kitchen at least once a week or before taking on a thing like working in 2018. Cause your gonna change stuff blindly to get that thing to work and you won't remember what ****amamied thing you tried and it broke something else...

Anyways, I'm going back to 2013. Yes stock, it's faster, more reliable, and everything works!

Heh, I have so many archives of the kitchen. Nicest thing is that it compresses really well when solid archiving is turned on. What base are we using - every rom I build with this gets robo voice in android. Its a small annoyance, but i'd like to fix it.

I guess the .dlls in question is rilphone and wavedev

hthomas - I added twitter 2016 tab. I take out internet and the footprints tab.. I was having trouble getting 2016 to work as well, and then it worked.. so it might've been something I was doing with the sys.

I don't care how much rom space my device has, if the rom is over 195 megs, you are clearly "doing it wrong". I love slimming things down.
