Remember what was recently added/changed. Probably something not compatible perhaps... Now you have to go back and find it, or fingure out a common addition, what were they doing when this occured? Them xda guys did say your rom was different... lol.

I was trying to make a ROM that would be different, just to keep the interest so it doesn't quite look like everyone else's, ya know.
For me when it occured there was pocket sand or some other game on then the phone was put down, it locked (due to time of inactivity) and when I tried to wake it is when it occured.

This is basically what I was talking about in my post a page above. I've seen in in the past happening on both of my previous phones. The so common SOD Sleep Of Death. There is a strong believe that the cause is improperly dumped ROM. The bottom line is that flashing carefully selected one, or better yet the official one (HTC / OEM distributed) should fix the issue. Not sure if HTC or T-Mobile ever posted one for HD2 yet.

Here the thread with the shipped and leaked roms for TMOUS HD2. 2.10.0 isthe rom the was shipped with the phone.

Just seen 2.13 coming soon and i still aint got my kitchen workin yet....Gettin close to tryin the DIY kitchen again.

The real shipped ROM with the T-Mobile US HD2 was the 2.10.531.1 (or the 2.10.1); However XMOO the wonderful person that put the 2.10.531.1 didn't get the stock SPL cooked into the ROM and there are some weird issues with it when trying to get your phone back to stock. If you load 2.10.0 then load 2.10.1 your phone goes back to stock, and that way seems to work pretty good. I'm now a bit off topic, but thanks RSTOYGUY for giving us a good kitchen to work off of!

Makes me think of why they didn't include bb or solitaire... Just keep backin it up until it doesn't do that anymore. Have ya nailed it down to any particular program/setting yet?

I'm thinking it is the HTC task manager (i disabled it now), not exactly sure, just rebuilt a ROM with 21903 from the latest kitchen and it is running ALOT smoother.

Posted in post #1. I'm still trying to get something going for the EVK...

Here's a rough changelog:

Includes :
SYS 21653
SYS 21903
SYS 23116
SYS 23566

- fixed/updated Quickmenu-Favorites
- Fixed Bubblebreaker and solitair
- Added S2U2 2.40, w/seperate batter while charging option
- Added several programs to zzrstoyguy_Extra_Apps_2
- Removed [StarView]_Fallout_3_Theme per the authors request
- Several other misc changes (Many of them.... )

Note: Several of these fixes include manipulation of mxip files. These fixes are found in ..\EXT\zzrstoyguy_Extra_Apps\zzz_My_Files_Dia_OEM
Please include that in your builds!

Another 3 hours wasted. I cant for the life of me get a bootable rom.

Got past last error to build the rom again but still wont get past customization.

Tried recmoding that file you suggested rstoyguy but with no success. Also tried recmoding OEM folder.....nothing..

Cleaned up 147 extra files in some modules.

Im gonna go post something in Ervius's kitchen thread see if I can figure something out.



Also by the way rstoyguy I got the 23568 sys and msxipkernel. Dont think thats the issue in my kitchen since it also happens the same with 21889 and 21892. Send me a pm if you want to use that in the EVK thing you got going on right now.
