video call with Nexus 4G & Iphone 4

I'am having trouble making a video call with Fring from my Sprint Nexus S 4G to my friends

Iphone 4 on the ATT network with Fring we both get the error message saying:

SORRY!
The application fring(process com.fring) has stopped unexpectedly.
please try again.

FORCE CLOSE or REPORT

I download fring on the Android market and my friend download fring on Itunes

I can hear her but her voice sounds far away with no video image and then the phone gives the error message above.

are the two phones not compatible making video calls?
is there something wrong wit the settings?

is there a better program than Fring to make video calls between these two phones?


please help me solve this issue.
