Verizon Nexus One on an Alltel Plan?

I realize that it's still early for this question considering the Verizon offering of the n1 isn't even out yet, but just wanted to open a discussion on whether it would be possible to activate an n1 on a VZW-assimilated-former-Alltel plan? I know several people that have activated a Moto Droid or HTC Eris on their grandfathered-in plans, but I'm curious if there would be some weird catch where Google is selling the phone straight out?

If anyone has any information on this, please share Thanks in advance!

Re: Verizon Nexus One on an Alltel Plan?

The way I understand it, so long as you don't use something like a new every two program, and pay full price for the device, you'll retain your current plan. I was merged over from Alltel onto Verizon, and paid full price for my Moto Droid; still have my Alltel plan.
