Re: One question about the WP 7
It's complicated... The official word from Microsoft is that the storage memory is not user removeable.
Having said that... It CAN be removed in several phones with simple tools. And they do use fat 32... However you WILL void your warranty if you do this. You should do a bit more research regarding this topic. p. |

You can use Zune to look at your content, but it doesn't read by itself ( I tried yesterday with the 16gb card from my hd7). |

Re: One question about the WP 7
The OP is on Sprint... My assumption is that he's looking at the Arrive.
I know you can crack it open and pull the card. But it's not reccomended. p. |

Re: One question about the WP 7
Thanks, guys.
My question is if the storage in the WP7 is FAT32. If I connect my iPod to my PC, I can use iTune to sync, and I can see a disk drive, I can put files onto the disk drive from Windows, BUT, I can only see the things I sync with iTune, not anything else with iPod itself. If I connect my TP2 with my PC, I can see a disk drive, I can put anything onto the drive, and my TP2, after unplug from PC, will see those things on the drive using File explorer or whatever. And if I turn on media player, or album, I'll see the pics and musics that I loaded in, no agents required. I know that the iPod/iPhone mode is a good way to manage your music or everything, with an iTune software. I hate it. I just can't figure that out. I want create my own folder and drag and drop like a file and in the media player, select what the folder I want. I think Android is also transparent. I've been using a PC for my whole life, just want old school things. Now, does WP7 OS do the iTune way or the old way? Thanks again. |

That's what I was telling you. I cracked my hd7 open and replaced the 16gb card with a 32gb card...a song I bought wasn't in my collection, I hooked up the 16gb card to 2 card readers and the PC didn't recognize it at all. |
