The trophy is a ghost phone...
vzw is the only FLAWLESS service in N ohio -but man that hd7s ...

It would be nice for it to come this week, but it's tough to say and I'm definitely not holding my breath. I'm looking at possibly buying an HTC Arrive and having it activated on Verizon just for now.

I keep e-mailing Verizon about getting the Trophy too and all they keep telling me is that they can't say anything because they don't want to lead anybody on. And then they try to make me buy something from their current line-up. No thank you!

It could possibly be because the phone hasn't been released yet and Verizon told them not to put anything on the website to keep everything hush, hush. I'm just trying to be optomistic...I really hope they get on the ball and get this phone to their customers. I hope they if they aren't losing customers, they sure are making a lot of them angry.

Im sure verizon are behind that I didnt really find it depressing it was par for the course reaaly; with all the other bad press on this subject from execs' dissing it to being last to offer it (it is the only world phone out of the bunch tho(more testing?))I dont think big red needs any more microsoft bad press 'cough' .. kin... 'cough'
I am the eternal optomist ....Ive been waiting for this for years since before my imagio...man am I glad I got that instead of waiting...since this- YouTube - Windows Mobile 7 UI {Photon was discontinued 2008/9, the UI changed in WP7S!) this was after photon was cancelled...so we've been waiting almost 3 years actually (so my emotional roller coaster comment may have been misconstrued..I am actually emotionally dead inside on this particular subject...and can only see the light at the end of the tunnel..)

Are vzw cool activating sprint phones still? I remember having problems with that 'back in the day'

Because if not; unlocked htc trophy(spark) is 369 right now on ebay...im assuming that is the euro version ... does it have the same radios?? ill probably buy outright anyway from vzw it would be cheaper than a new contract and I doubt vzw will offer it for under 299 outright... I would imagine they are probably at 399, even 499 would probably be comparable to what is current. so 369 unlocked sounds good

I think the unlocked HTC Trophy is GSM if I recall.

This is good news, yet bad news. Looks like it will be the 15th now.

Hey David... give the MS offer number a call now.. :) Maybe they have changed their tune :)

I'm guessing the VZW MS offer is a pre-order only offer.. so.. 7th deal ends.. cause the device will be available on the 15th .. What you think ? The offer says "PRE-LAUNCH" !!! So that makes sense...

Waited this long.. another two weeks.. ? I dunno.. VZW definitely SUX!

That makes sense that it would be like that. I e-mailed that Steve Sapp to see what he says about the whole thing. Maybe we can get a definite date.
