Re: Verizon is Excited, Waiting On Windows Phone 7

Not to crash the party.... but I used WM7 at the AT&T store. All I can say is YUCK!

I went to VZ and picked up a Motorola Droid 2 Global (1.2Ghz processor and dedicated video processor) and I haven't looked back. This phone makes my Touch Pro look like the stone ages.

Yeah, well I think when the TP was hot android was still somebody's wet dream. The touch pro was ok in it's time. The better was TP2.I wouldn't be too quick to judge wp7.

Re: Verizon is Excited, Waiting On Windows Phone 7

I'm rocking a WP7 LG Optimus 7 - blows everything I have played with away. The GUI is simple, smooth and the integrated web experiences around Xbox, Zune, and the whole LiveTile concept is pretty interesting. Getting pictures is just stupid easy - everything comes together - cloud and on the phone - it's a beautiful thing.

Verizon applications are showing up in the Marketplace so there is absolutely no doubt - it's coming now... maybe first of the year at the latest...

You do have a valid point. I must admit. It will be interesting to see what actually proceeds from Verizon on the WM7 front.
