Yes/No?
I agree wholeheartedly. I don't like portrait keyboards at all. And honestly, as far as looks go, this thing looks just like all of the other HTC phones that have come out. The portrait keyboard is about the only real difference I see.

Not trying to be a troll or anything, but I hope at least one of these companies will give us a good wp7 landscape keyboard phone.

Re: Windows 7 phone leak

do you really need a landscape keyboard on a 4.1" screen? I used the hd2 virtual keyboard and it was TONS better than tp2 real keyboard.

Re: Windows 7 phone leak

I can't wait for WP7 to come out. That being said, i was surprised at the excitement of the phone in the first post. Are people really excited about it? The phone itself doesn't do anything AT ALL for me. It looks like every other phone except it has the crappy portrait slide out keyboard which looks like a nightmare to type on.

Hope to see cooler phones. If WP7 was out today on this particular phone - as excited as i am - i would consider passing on it until cooler phones come out.

Am i missing something? Is there something in the pic i am not seeing that has everyone excited?

Anyway, my 2 cents.

Re: Windows 7 phone leak

I guess you missed it.
kidding aside. That is a great looking phone. I'm not particularly excited about it... (not on Sprint) I just expressed an appreciation for the phone.
Looks really thin. If you look at the top view... The entire phone appears to be as thick as the bottom half of the TP2 (look at the headphone jack)
The portrait slide is a nice alternative... I used to have a Moto Q and I really liked the keyboard on it. So if for example this was a model that Sprint offered... I would not automatically discount it from consideration.
Just to give you my point of view.

It's just like people who won't use smart phones due to wanting hard buttons. I agree with a bigger screen a on-screen keyboard would work good but, there is nothing like a hard button to type quicker...

If there was a choice with a keyboard and with out, as long as it's not 200% larger, I would take the one with the keyboard.

It's a nice looking phone otherwise...OLED ? COOL

Re: Windows 7 phone leak

I think this is really awesome phone, I like the design and specially the slider because The qwerty keyboard in the slider is in very less phone and the dell made it. I am really surprised to see that.
