Samsung Intrepid Text Messages Very Annoying

I have a Samsung Intrepid and the text messaging on this phone is horrible.

Everytime I'm roaming it won't send, it won't send in low signal area. I've never had a phone be so fickle about what conditions it sends messages under.

With previous phones I've been able to send messages with 0 bars, signal fading in and out.

With this phone, I basically have to have 5 bars of Sprint service. 5 bars of roaming service won't send usually.

I think it's that stupid Samsung MMS software, is there any way to improve this?

My Diamond won't send roaming at all. You just need to find a way to get a better signal. You may wanna get another phone just so you get better signal.

I've never had a phone that wouldn't send roaming. That seems to be a very major set back if they've disabled that feature.
