Startup animation does not display

I have reflashed twice in PPCKitchen. Actually learned to install sub-boot splash images I found from internet. I have the iwash girl set in my animated splash screen. She is just cleaning that glass nicely... Anyway, the image is animated. when I run PPCKitchen I get to the RUU with no hiccups. I install and soft reset. I get all of the images I selected except for the animated gif. I even tried to default Sprint animated install and nothing. I am running 6.1. Is this a 6.1 glitch. I recall using 6.1. with no problems previously.

You need to use Conflipper's startup animation package (its in PPCK OEM) and rename your animation to wmstartup_ani.gif

I renamed the gif to the appropriate title, but did not install conflipper's program from Kitchen. I notest their is an update for PPCKitchen, so I tried to update. Now having problems connecting to server and can't open old build. I Will follow your advice, once I am able to connect to kitchen server for update. I may have to update manually instead of auto updater. Where does the rar file go if I do it manually. Is it all unzipped in Kichen folder, oem folder, or do I create a new sub folder and name something particular
