Motorola Droid - Google - Lucasfilm?

Does anyone else find it ironic that Motorola makes a phone with Google's free Android OS and then names it Droid which is copyrighted by Lucasfilm Inc.! I thought the point of Android was punch these big corporations in the nutz and tell them to keep their overpriced OS's............Just a rant!

i saw that too last time i saw the commercial, i find it really funny and just wish that it said lucasfilm on the phone :P

Ummm... you're not under the impression that Google is the Robin Hood of the 21st century, are you?

Google's door mat probably says something like "we control your horizontal and we control your vertical. Welcome to Google"
