For me i got my first phone when I was 14 it was the A640 and that was about 3-4 years ago. After a while I realized that all that simple stuff bored me out of my mind. So in 2007 or 08 I went a different way. I got the Mogul when I was 16 :0 I was so wowed at how far we had come because over the years I saw the little cell phones my mother had gotten. After the mogul I went on to get the touch which I loved as well. And now im stuck with the TP until my upgrade in december when I can get the TP2, unless what I hear is right and the HD2 releases in sprint by Dec or the beginning of next year. Im now 17 and I love finding out how to do things with WinMo phones and tweaking them.

For me, it wasn't a Phone, or a PPC in the strict sense. It was a Palm M100. I then "upgraded" to the IIIc (Color device which was older than the M100), then I upgraded to the Treo 650 (first phone combo), then to the disaterous Mogul, and now to my 50/50 Diamond (Love/Hate)

The Samsung Instinct started it for me, because it sucked! So I returned it and got a HTC Touch. After that I had to try what ever I could get my hands on. Touch, Diamond, Apache, Mogul, Touch Pro and Snap.

Nice stories on how you all got here. Here's mine:
I started with the treo700wx and my fiance, wideawake started with the apache 6700. He actually began learning how to create this site and helped with the first custom rom ever made on his apache! Once he started showing me tweaks he was doing to his phone, I was attached. I loved the windows mobile phones from then on. I will never change my OS!
