Im in an EVDO area, basically the San Diego area and Los Angeles area. I dont know how to check my speeds though. Also found out by driving down the streets with Wi-Fi turned on that plenty of people have it in the area.

My phone usually says I'm in EVDO but I barely notice the difference between 1x and EVDO myself. But then, I'm used to cable :p.

Guess its time for a EVDO REV A poll now, which I'm in

I moved from a 1x in el paso, tx EVDO in Orlando, Fl and i love it :D
big big difference :D :D |
I am so glad
I finally got EVDO and now the darn phone signal is going crazy. I can't use it in my house anymore and its statick everywhere else. I am pissed at sprint. Well good luck everyone else

I'm on the fringes of the DC area so 90% of the time i'm covered by EVDO but there are moments where it reverts back to 1x. The difference is only marginal at best for most of the tasks i perform on my device, but when it's not available I can still feel it.

1x. Yuma, AZ, 3rd fastest growing city in America and 200,000 people in the summer (when it's 120 degrees) and jumps to 300,000 in the winter, but still not even on Sprint's 120 day plan for an EVDO upgrade. AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!
I hate going to Phoenix, cuz I get to play with EVDO there and know that I have to come back to this 1x crap when I get home. |
