Right now i am on 1X however if i got 2 hours east(st. louis) or 2 hours west(kansas city) i have EVDO. I have heard that we should have EVDO here by november

Every city I seem to go to has EVDO, so I am okay with that. However, I live in the wilderness in a teepee so I barely get 1X....

its weird for me over here, cuz even though i am in an EVDO area, i dont get teh 480kbs many people claim to get on other areas. wonder why. When i am on a 1X area and use it as modem, windows says it is a lower 200'ish kbs/s

hmm, nevermind, i just clocked 422.6 in teh EVDO area

I'm in a EV area, but unfortunately am without a EV capable phone :(

I don't live in a EVDO area either. The closest place that dose is Las Vegas, which I will be visiting a couple times next month. As much as I like my 6700, it is starting to drive me nuts that the A2DP hack won't work on mine & I can't find a wired handsfree (3.5mm headphone plug w/ volume control) that I like. :(
