Re: Found Nice case for Verizon HTC touch pro 2

best of luck. i would love to get a case for this phone, but at the same time i had one similar to the one you posted but for my tp1 and i did not like. could be that it was just a bad quality case, but it just didn't seem to fit right. and boy was it scary trying to take it off, felt like i was gonna rip the phone in half.

let us know how it is, like i said, would love to get some protection for her, ha...oh and let us know if it adds a lot of thickness

Re: Found Nice case for Verizon HTC touch pro 2

The leather case is nice. I just got it last week.

Just make sure you put your screen protector on before you use it. There was a small residue of glue that holds the felt lining in, and the first time I pulled the phone out (sans screen protector), the screen had some streaks of goo on it.

Don't get me wrong, it is a great case, especially for the price. Would be a great case for 3x the price.

Re: Found Nice case for Verizon HTC touch pro 2

I bought the black rubberized hard case version from Naked Cell Phone and it's pretty good. Fits perfectly and doesn't add too much bulk to the phone.

On a side note though, Naked Cell Phone sells a Telus and Verizon version of the cases, which I gathered were the exact same versions, but the "Verizon" labeled model is $5 more.

I also bought a screen protector from Clear Protector... it wasn't easy to apply and I'm not too happy with it

i'm gonna try and stay away from a hardcase this time, but those aren't bad.... it just adds too much bulk and chances are that ill only drop the phone once and on carpet. i'm gonna go with zagg or ghost armor if i hear they cover the back nicely

Re: Found Nice case for Verizon HTC touch pro 2

The Clear Protectors are great! Having said that, they can be a botch to put on. I always order 2. If put on successfully, they are great, little rubbery.

The ones that were mentioned in the first post, I also ordered, the day I got my phone. I finally received them today, all 5. Unfortunately those do have the camera cutout on the front and say nothing about Verizon or Sprint on the package. They are clearly marked, For HTC Touch Pro 2.
Even though they have the front camera cutout, they are great stiff, hard plastic screenies, especially at a buck each. My biggest complaint, is the sticker(tab) on the corner of the screenie, to aid in placement, leaves a goober from the adhesive on the tab. The goo is removable, with a bit of elbow grease, 409 cleaner, pine sol, I don't know, I tried everything! Small amounts, of course on a soft cloth. With the battery out. Finally got it all off, though I hate rubbing that much on a brand new screenie, unless I'm using the device.

Consensus, they all have their downfalls and whoever mentioned that they should put them on in the factory, in a sterile environment, was onto a great idea! Chances are that 1 good one, put on right, should last for as long as we use the device. Then, setup the service centers to be able to redo them for you when and if needed would also be cool.

Mostly wanted to give a heads up on my experience with those two types of protectors. I also ordered a Ghost Armor for just the screen when I got it. It never arrived.

Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?

Anyone suggest a rubber case for the Telus TP2? Two rubber covers that fit over the screen and keyboard elements.

Also checking out the clear plastic cover from naked cell.

Any input is appreciated.

if you need access to your headphone jack/mini usb, and want quality, go with the oem htc case. bought this one, and it fit the tp2 perfectly.

Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?

Just got this for my Verizon TP2 for $14.99 shipped, and the seller was nice enough to include a free belt clip (it attaches/detaches with press of a button, and goes into the hole on the back). I'm a little worried that it will snap off while on my belt, but it's holding so far (knock on wood).

Re: Found Nice case for Verizon HTC touch pro 2

I found that my TP2 fits like a glove in the fortte leather case that I had for my Motorolla Q.
They aren't the cheapest cases (bare bones with fixed clip 29.95) but you get what you pay for. I use the side mount or horizontal case and in my opinion it couldn't fit better.
They list a case for the Touch Pro 2 and I almost bought one but I doubt it would fit any better than the case I already have.

Take a look here:
http://www.fortte.com/

just my 2 cents worth.
