Re: Windows Mobile on a Flip Phone

There are 2 that I found. The HTC Star Trek or known as the Cingular 3125.
Then there is the Motorola MPx220.

Here is a link to compare the two.

Re: Windows Mobile on a Flip Phone

There is one offered on nextel, the moto i920, but it's only a smartphone. Not full touchscreen winmo pro. Not a bad phone though, sold quite a few when i worked at the sprint sto'.

Sorry, get carried away sometimes

I wish they'd make more winmo flips. I love clamshells. I'd love a touch pro in the form factor of an LG Lotus.

Re: Windows Mobile on a Flip Phone

Thanks to all. Actually for my application I was looking for a GSM WInMo Std. Device. The Moto only does Windows Mobile 2003 if I am reading things correctly. I like the WinMo 5 in the Cingular 3125/I-Mate SmartFlip/HTC StarTrek better. I am a little concerned about storage and the charger. What kind of charger do I need for one of these? It doesn't look like the mini USB on most of our devices. Also can I put in a Micro SD card, and of what size?
thanks
Frank

Re: Windows Mobile on a Flip Phone

The HTC Startrek uses MicroSD cards, and the charger is i Believe micro usb, same as like a razor V9 or something. Also Winmo 6.0 and 6.1 has been ported over to the startrek.
