WinMo 6.1 to 6.5 Backup/Upgrade/Restore

I am upgrading a ROM from the stock Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM to 6.5 .
What is the easiest/best way to backup all of the contacts, IMs, call logs, etc and then restore them after upgrading the ROM?

I'm looking at the Sprite Backup 10 day trial but not sure it will run on 6.5.

Any suggestions?
