How to backup SMS in Win 6.5

I apologize in advance if this post has been answered elsewhere as I did search a fair bit.
I am trying to find a simple way of saving texts before I flash to a new rom. There must be a way so that every time I flash to a new rom I can still see past texts.

check out a program called pimbackup.
it's very handy.
I dont' recommend backing up anything but contacts/messaging(email-texts)/call log.
I personally don't back up anything but contacts/call log.
Other two can get to be too much memory or have too many attachments/pictures.

I use pimbackup all the time, I backup SMS, contacts, call logs, e-mail, and a few files/folders/ring tones off it before doing a new build of 6.5. In about 3 min I have all my data back after a rebuild.

I've never had a problem with data (but, only about 5 folders and My documents) or anything else with it.

Best of all, it's freeware

I download a tool called iMobileTool SMS Backup. It helps me to backup SMS messages from Windows Mobile Phone to computer and keep them safe.It works well for me.
