Phone gets messed up when SD Card is inserted

Hey All,

I have a touch pro that chokes when any SD card is inserted in it. The phone responds a bit but the screen is disabled. For example if a call comes in the answer screen comes up but it I cant slide to answer as the screen doesnt repsond. When touched the buttons light up but dont do anything. When connected to a PC activesync starts but never connects.

A soft reset hangs and it needs a hard reset to get it going again.
I have tried a couple of different roms with the same results I have also tried different SD cards with the same results.

Any ideas?
