i must be honest the battery life does suck but the phone is so awesome the battery life doesnt even matter lol (well of course battery life is important) but one thing is the backdoor does come off but palm says DO NOT!!!! remove the battery itll wipe the phone and cause problems y didnt they just have in internal battery like the iphone???? cuz they should kno theirs gonna be some freakin douch to remove the battery lol...

Just curious:

How does it sync with a PC? (can it import contacts and appointments from Outlook?, or does it use its own software?)

Any on screen keyboard? (so I don't have to open tio for a million texts a day)

Any chance you got it activated on SERO? (I keep hearing you need to sign up for a new plan, and I can't lose SERO).

well it doesnt have its own program really not sure if it syncs wit outlook but it does sync with itunes...their is no on screen keyboard but im pretty sure the app catalog will have sumthin for that very soon...im sorry im not sure wat sero is...u dont need to sign up for a new plan but u need a data plan on sprint...and hibby trust me u wont be dissappointed with the pre it runs linux way better than windows but i am also an owner of a touch pro and i love it so i feel ya

Battery is like the Diamond or Pro, lasts a hour or so longer with major usage, plus it heats up after plenty of usage, like the TP. Had it since the beginning of May, I like the phone and system, obviously i love my WM. But the Pre can do alot!!! Not the iPhone killer, but you know.

I got one this morninig, from Best Buy. after waiting since 6AM. once inside, they took a while to activate it. They finally called sprint and had them remove the battery to refresh the phone. Its not a big deal to take it off. I saw it done, small battery.

I did not go back to see the battery myself. But it can be done with no issues.

**The phone is super bad asz, fast and the speaker is clear and loud.... Screen is brighter and sharper even though is less resolution.

**Phone does heat up, not as bad as the TP, but I definately feel the heat, and while charging as well.

**Very, very responsive screen and features to open, maximize, zoom, close apps is the best feature on this new Web OS.

**I can see the updates scheduled to come out later this year are gonna be extremely needed. There is no Flash support or video recording capability right now.
