How do you brick your phone?

Am i the only devious person to think of this if so im sorry!

I wont to brick my phone on purpose then bring it to get fixed knowing damn well they cant fix it and just get a new one with out using insurance? i had the pro since the first day it came out and mine is scratched all up!! i use to do it back in the day but dont have the tools to do it with the pro i just wont a new one that looks cosmetically better.......then ofcourse have a better chance on selling it when yes thats right the PRE COMES OUT!!!
