Bad Battery for HTC Touch

My battery has been draining pretty fast lately without much use. I mean it usually last an entire day without much use but now it probably only last for half a day. I think my battery is giong bad so does anyone know what I can do about this? I think I remember seeing an app around on this forum that I can download and test my battery to see its condition. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Don't know the app that you're speaking about, but if you have a bad battery, I still have the battery from my Touch, & you can have it if you want it.

Well do you know of any programs I can use to check? Oh I can have your battery? Goodie! How can I get it?

I looked at the thread but i am not sure what it does? Does this test my battery to see if it is good or not?
