Bad Battery for HTC Touch

My battery has been draining pretty fast lately without much use. I mean it usually last an entire day without much use but now it probably only last for half a day. I think my battery is giong bad so does anyone know what I can do about this? I think I remember seeing an app around on this forum that I can download and test my battery to see its condition. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
