I'm pretty sure you are right! For interantional use, GSM probably is the way to go. Personally, I would wait for the Tegra-based Devices, nvidia is suggesting they be put out for $99 later this year...I'll post the latest news real soon!

Looks like the HTC Touch Pro supports both CDMA and GSM:

That's either/or, not both in the same device. HTC makes both versions of the Touch Pro.
