can WM be emulated on desk or lap?

I'd like to be able to simulate my ppc on my desktop so that I

can try or run various progams and installation techniques

in some confined desktop environment prior to installing on

my phone. Seems like it should be easy enough.


Does any such software exist to do this?

Heck, sometimes I just forget what a program is and it

would be nice to joggle my memory without taking any

chance of crashing my ppc just to recall.
