cell phone cases for real people, any input?

Hello, I am a machinist/design engineer/manufacturer and I do like my PPC's.

I have a 6700, 6800, and 6850.

One thing that I have made for each and every one of my own are rather decent looking carry cases which enable me to carry them while riding my two wheeled steeds, regardless of the wether.

We (myself and the others here) do quite a bit with Rebreathers and do have a proprietary plastic process which makes it quite easy to produce smallish numbers of very high quality molded plastic parts of all different types of plastics including; rubberized, harder than 6061-T6, clear, all various colors even chrome appearing, high temp.... etc

I am considering doing a run of cqses for a few phones

clear and maybe some chrome with clear inserts which will allow use of touch screens

and be waterproof.... while being tightly fitted and not looking like a 8 year olds colored ditty zip lock back..... something you'd not be ashamed to wear to church even


any suggestions or input???

I got a 6700 and would love to buy one if you decide to make them. One comment though, I always use the extended battery on my phone, so it would have to fit that.
Usually the only reason that i dont like phone cases is cause you cant use the touch screen while its in the case

Oh also, access to the 6700's power button on top is a plus

would you pay extra to be able to charge it while in a impact/water proof type case?

working on numbers over the next few days

I like to be able to charge mine when riding

have a cig lighter on my chopper for that reason only

I haven't obtained a larger battery for my 6800 or 6850

I think that exists for the 6800 although mine doesn't need one and not sure one exists for the 6850 and it sure does.

I do have a few for the 6700 and still playing with that drawing to decide if I'll make a standard battery only case for that brick as well as an extended or standard battery case

I'm not sure which other phones have a large enough fan base but I am going to do a razr case or two as well

extended batteries....... micro card usb adapters.... a tidy and very compact mini usb interface for charging and sound also with both size stereo jacks....

would any of that be useful?

does anyone with any of the extended batteries, touch pro needed the most, have a pair of calipers and willing/capable to provide some detailed dimensions wtih pix? xv6800 would be nice as well since I certainly have no need to own an extended battery for that machine, the stocker works great for me.

my local verizon stores do not keep the extended batteries in stock and do not have one to show me

thus far I've not been tempted enough to buy any of them as I am waiting to see which one is best for the ching
