Just a thought on wifi: Does your phone submit information to your carrier?

This is something I thought of not long ago, and was wondering...

Does our phones with wifi capabilities submit information to our carriers? Like, what website you've visited, how many kbs have you downloaded, or even the IP address of the current wifi connection?

Yes... At least in regards to kbs that has been downloaded... That is how they are able to know if you have to be charged for using a data plan, and for how much... Also, wi-fi is based on what ever ISP that the router is using, so your cell carrier will not be able to tell... The only info they may be able to know of is when you use your data plan... What ever you do when using wi-fi, I believe can not be known by your cell carrier...
