I don't think this will work very well for you at all, unless its for very basic things. At least up where I am, if I send myself a megaton of text messages (or get textbombed), they come in rather slowly. Last time someone bombed me it took about 2 hours to clear the 500 messages.

Dude, if money is the issue maybe you should find a place to donate plasma or something. That takes about 3 hours and you get payed 30 bucks the first time you go in a week. the second time you go in a week is 40 bucks. Get a hustle or something. Sell weed or Yager Bombs or something.

Why dont you do this, eliminate the unlimited text messages plan and get the data plan (i am not mistaken is the same price), and if you need to send a text to anyone doit through email, every carrier has and email format for example sprint if you send and email to 10digitnumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com or 10digitnumber@pm.sprint.com the other person gets it as a text message or verizon 10digitnumber@vtext.com and if you google search you'll find for all the carriers, is probably easier than going through all that trouble with the sms...
